  1. Q13 Rajesh arrested for committing a murder. Immediately after a murder he confesses to the police officer in the police station. He discloses in his confession the place where he has hidden weapon with which he committed the murder.
    • (i) Will the statement of Rajesh amounts to confession?
    • (ii) When can a confession to be relevant as per law? Explain.
  2. Q14 Mia accused of a crime.
    • (i) The fact that soon after commission of a crime Mia absconded from her house is relevant? Explain with provision.
    • (ii) The fact that at the time when she left her home she had sudden and urgent business at the place to which she went is it relevant? Explain with provision.
  3. Q15 Rucha in her suicide note dated 01/01/2025 which was found near her body next day i.e. 02/01/2025, wherein she has pointed out her husband responsible for physical torture or mental harassment regularly till her death.
    • (i) Does the statement made in the suicide note has evidentiary value?
    • (ii) If so, which are the provisions of Bhartiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023 applicable in the instant case.
