1. Q16 Raghav and Prajakta are Hindus married under the Hindu Marriage Act, 1956. Raghav converts to another religion and becomes a Muslim to marry Heena. (a) What is the status of the marriage with Prajakta after the conversion of Raghav's religion? (b) Is the marriage of Raghav with Heena valid? Give reasons.
2. Q17 Sara's husband died on the second day of the third pronouncement of talaq given as the talaq-ul-sunnat. (a) How will the death of the husband affect the observance of (i) the iddat period and (ii) unpaid mehr? Explain. (b) Also explain the situation in the context of her remarriage.
3. Q18 Salma's husband meets with an accident and dies when he was supposed to give dower to Salma. (a) Is Salma still entitled to get Dower? (b) Is Salma allowed to renounce Dower? Justify.
