Q15 A, while testifying in court, refuses to answer certain questions on the ground that the answers may expose him to a criminal charge. The court directs him to answer. (i) Can a witness refuse to answer on such grounds? (ii) What protection, if any, is available to the witness?

Q16 A enters into a written contract with B. Later, A claims that before signing the contract there was an oral agreement that contradicts the written terms. B objects to the admission of such oral evidence. (i) Whether oral evidence can be admitted to contradict the written contract? (ii) State the exceptions, if any.
