AIBE practice FAQs

What do I get for ₹499?

A year of access to all 19 previous year question papers and every question in them, the correct answer to every question from the Bar Council of India's official final answer keys, and your score and your rank on every paper. Access runs for 12 months from the day you pay, and any paper we add in that year is yours at no extra cost. We email you the AIBE WhatsApp and Telegram group links within 24 hours of paying. It is one payment: nothing renews by itself and there is no subscription.

Is this only for Mumbai University students?

No. The AIBE is a national exam set by the Bar Council of India, and this practice is for anyone sitting it, from any state, university or college. munotes began with Mumbai University material and its bar exam practice is open to every candidate in India. The papers, the answer keys and the rankings are the same for everyone.

Is it really free to try?

Yes. The first 10 questions of every paper are free, with no sign-in and no payment. The timer, the question palette and mark for review all work.

Where do the answers come from?

Every correct answer comes from the Bar Council of India's official final answer key for that paper. Questions the official key withdrew are not scored.

How do I get a refund?

Write to us from the account that paid. If you were charged twice, or paid and the question papers never unlocked, we refund it in full. Anything else that genuinely went wrong is looked at case by case, as the cancellation and refund policy sets out.

Do I need to sign in to start?

No. You sign in with Google only when you unlock the full paper, so your access, your score and your rank are saved to your account.

Are rankings separate for each paper?

Yes. Scores and rankings are kept per paper, so an AIBE XX 2025 attempt is ranked separately from AIBE XIX 2024 or any other paper. The ranking across all question papers shows each candidate's best score on every one of them.

How many candidates fail the AIBE?

According to the Bar Council of India, 59,876 of the 1,75,701 candidates who appeared in AIBE XXI (June 2026) did not qualify, and the pass percentage was 65.92%, even after the qualifying marks were lowered by 3. In AIBE XX (November 2025), 77,579 of 2,51,968 did not qualify (69.21% passed). Every advocate enrolled after 2010 must pass the AIBE to practise before the courts.

How long is each AIBE practice test?

Each paper has 100 questions and a 3-hour timer, the same format as the real examination.

Where do the scores and rankings come from?

From candidates who took these question papers in this practice and chose to show their name. The practice ran on LegalAlphabet from June 2026 and moved to munotes in September 2026, bringing its scores and rankings with it.
