How students use these papers

1 Solve it first, under exam conditions Open the question paper, give it the full duration, and write as you would in the hall.
2 Then compare, answer by answer Look at structure and coverage before wording. Marks are lost by missing a part of the question, not by writing it badly.
3 Watch what repeats across sittings A question that comes back two years running is worth learning in full, not just recognising.

Frequently asked questions

Are these official Mumbai University answers?+

No. These are model answers written by munotes for study use. The University of Mumbai does not publish an official answer key, so no site can offer one. Use these to check your approach and your structure.

Are they free to read?+

Yes. Every answer opens straight away, with no login and no payment.

Why is a paper not solved yet?+

Papers are solved one subject at a time, and the newest exam of each subject is written first. The question paper itself is already on munotes and free to read, whether or not its answers are written.

About this subject

These twenty-seven papers were set under three different states of the law. The eighteen 100-mark papers of 2010 to 2019 and the online paper of 2022 were set when the Land Revenue Code still required the Collector's permission to convert agricultural land. The Second Amendment Act of 2025 has replaced that scheme, so the conversion and sanad answers give the procedure the paper asked about and then the present position. The papers up to November 2013 were sat under the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, and the paper of November 2010 under the Coastal Regulation Zone Notification of 1991, and those answers use that law. The coast is the steadiest topic: a 12-mark Coastal Regulation Zone question is on 24 of the 27 papers, and the question on the permitted activities in the zones is on 18. A 12-mark Registration Act question is on 18 papers, and structural repairs under MHADA on 14. "Landless person" is on 11 papers. Where a question repeats word for word, it carries the same answer each time.

These are model answers prepared by munotes. They are a study aid and not official University answer keys, which the University of Mumbai does not publish.
