(ii) What are the contents of such a declaration? (iii) Within how much time from the date of publication of the declaration does the award for acquisition of the land have to be passed?

Q16 Sunil sold his farm house situated at Karjat to Anil for Rs. 6,00,000/- (Rupees Six lakhs only). Anil paid the full amount to Sunil and, pursuant thereto, the Sale Deed was executed by both of them. (i) Is the said Sale Deed required to be registered? (ii) Who is liable for payment of the stamp duty on the said Sale Deed, and to what extent?
