  1. Q13 Guddi accompanies her parents on construction site. Her parents work as labourers. Guddi often helps her mother as her mother is pregnant. Guddi is not given anything by the contractor. (a) Explain the rules relating to child labour in the light of above case. (b) Explain the rights of Guddi in relation to education & child safety
  2. Q14 The Betwa project in Madhya Pradesh sparked debate about Rights of tribals. The tribals are protesting against the project as it will displace thousands of families in that region. (a) Write your opinions on Rights of tribals versus the rights of development in the above situation. (b) Write any two projects where the rights of people were affected due to development projects
  3. Q15 High rise buildings in the city of Mumbai are increasing at alarming rate. The number of projects approved by the authorities is resulting into high rate of air pollution (a) Explain the right to clean air as a basic human right in reference to the above case (b) Write two legislations on Right to healthy environment.
  4. Q16 Two nations Ramena and Kulana are neighbors. Kulana is a powerful nation with dominance of natives called Kulis. Kulis think they are a superior race. Ramena is weak nation with poverty and lack of basic facilities. Ramena natives are called Ramitas. Because of lack of opportunities many Ramitas illegally cross borders and enter Kulana. Kulis gather and kill almost 200 Ramitas who were residing in a small locality in Kulana provided by the Kulana government as a part of refugee protection program. (a) Explain the right to life of Ramitas residing in Kulana. (b) What is the responsibility of the Kulana Government in the above situation.
