  1. Q13 Rohan was released from jail while undergoing imprisonment. (i) Can an accused be released while undergoing an imprisonment? (ii) What are the objectives of so releasing the accused?
  2. Q14 Raja, 25 years of age, raped Seema, 24 years of age, a neighbour, in broad daylight. The sessions court convicted him to four years of rigorous imprisonment. (i) Is this justified? (ii) What is required to blend deterrence with correction?
  3. Q15 Mahesh was convicted under Sec. 103, 64 of BNS and sentenced to life imprisonment. He started living a spiritual life inside the prison. The criminal gang members inside the prison started harassing him. (i) What remedy would you like to suggest to Mahesh? (ii) What mechanism do we have inside the prison to curb such activities?
