  1. Q15 Sonu, aged 15 years, wakes up in the middle of the night and screams "I am a demon" and stabs his father, leading to his death. (i) Is Sonu guilty of any offence? (ii) Discuss the pre-classical school of criminology.
  2. Q16 Heera, aged 15 years, belongs to a well to do family and has joined a gang of robbers for fun, where he is actively involved and gets paid handsomely. (i) State the causes of juvenile delinquency. (ii) State the punishment which can be awarded to Heera if he is caught.
  3. Q17 Bola is undergoing 15 years of rigorous imprisonment. He has completed 9 years and his behaviour is good. His father has passed away and he wants to attend the funeral. (i) Can he get out on Parole? (ii) Discuss the objective of parole.
  4. Q18 Monu is undergoing a life imprisonment sentence and is a model prisoner. (i) Can he be shifted to open prison? (ii) Discuss the pros and cons of open prison.

  1. Q19 Discuss in detail Capital Punishment. State its relevance in current times.
  2. Q20 Discuss in brief Cyber Crimes and how they are dealt with under existing criminal laws.
  3. Q21 Explain in detail the powers of police to investigate crimes with special emphasis on Custodial violence.
