Scribes, Extra Time and Access at the AIBE
The AIBE settles scribes, extra time and screen reader mode at registration, and the tick box for screen reader mode rules out asking for the OMR pen and paper test on exam day. Extra time is 20 minutes per hour above 40 per cent disability, dated to the AIBE XXI guidelines.
The AIBE Registration Form, Step by Step
AIBE XXII registration closes on 27 October 2026, and it happens on aibe.digivarsity.online, not on the site where you found the exam. The mobile number you enter cannot be changed later, and the portal says so itself.
AIBE Photo, Signature and Document Upload Specs
The AIBE photo is 150 by 200 pixels and the signature 150 by 100, with uploads limited to .Jpeg, .Jpg and .pdf files under 600KB. The enrolment certificate box carries a warning that the wrong document may get your result withheld.

106 students sat MU's MA Psychology Semester 4 exam in May 2026. 5 failed, down from 9 last year. 7 cleared every paper but have no result yet, and only 1 theory paper in 424 got an O.
AIBE XXII dates and deadlines
AIBE XXII is on 29 November 2026, with registration closing 27 October, payment 28 October, corrections 30 October, admit cards 14 November and the result tentatively 7 to 10 January 2027. Only the Bar Council's registration portal carries that schedule, because the official information site is still on AIBE XXI.
Who Can Sit the AIBE: Enrolment Is Not Required
You do not need to be enrolled with a State Bar Council to sit the AIBE, and final year students with no backlogs may sit it. In AIBE XXI, 95,962 of the 1,75,701 candidates had no enrolment certificate, about 55% of the hall.

The All India Bar Examination is set by the Bar Council of India: 100 questions, three hours, no negative marking. In AIBE XXI, 1,75,701 people sat it and the Bar Council put the pass rate at 65.92%.
What You May Do Before You Clear the AIBE
A provisional enrolment carries the right to practise for two years, and attempts at the AIBE are unlimited. No Bar Council document states what happens at the end of those two years, so we have not guessed.
