1. (a) Sarita, a middle class girl from a village got married to Mahesh who was a class one officer in Maharashtra Public Service Commission. After her marriage she went to stay with her husband in Mumbai. Mahesh did not take her to any of the social gatherings and told her that he feels ashamed of her, gradually he started abusing her verbally and physically. (i) Which rights of Sarita are violated in the above case? Explain. (ii) Write any two legislations which aim at upliftment of rights of women passed by parliament.
