The MHT-CET PCM pattern

  • No negative marking.
  • About 20% of the questions come from Std XI and 80% from Std XII.
  • The questions follow the State Board (SCERT Maharashtra) syllabus. The CET Cell says the difficulty in Physics, Chemistry and Maths is at par with JEE (Main), and the questions are mainly application based.
  • Physics and Chemistry come first. After 90 minutes that part closes and Mathematics opens. You cannot go back.

MHT-CET mock test FAQs

Are these real MHT-CET question papers?

No. Every question in these mocks is written by munotes to the official MHT-CET syllabus and pattern from the State CET Cell. Past MHT-CET papers are shown only to candidates inside their own CET Cell login, so we do not copy them.

Is there negative marking in MHT-CET?

No. The State CET Cell says there is no negative marking, so the mocks have none either. A wrong answer and a blank answer both score zero.

How is each mock timed?

Like the real exam. Physics and Chemistry come first: 100 questions in 90 minutes. Then Mathematics: 50 questions in 90 minutes. Once you move to Mathematics you cannot go back to Physics and Chemistry.

How are the marks counted?

Physics and Chemistry questions carry 1 mark each, and Mathematics questions carry 2 marks each, so each mock is out of 200, the same as the PCM paper.

What do I get for ₹499?

Every MHT-CET mock on munotes as a timed test, a worked solution for every question, and your score by subject and your rank on every mock. It is lifetime access: you pay once and nothing renews by itself.

How often are new mocks added?

A new full mock is added every week until MHT-CET 2027. Every new mock is included in the pass at no extra cost.

Which syllabus do the questions follow?

The State Board (SCERT Maharashtra) syllabus named by the CET Cell: the whole Std XII syllabus, and the Std XI chapters it lists. About 20% of the questions are from Std XI and 80% from Std XII, as in the real paper.

These mocks are written by munotes to the official MHT-CET syllabus and pattern. munotes is not the State CET Cell and is not affiliated with or endorsed by it. For the exam itself, always follow cetcell.mahacet.org.
