(2) An offence was committed in Zebranagar police station jurisdiction, but still Mr. Suryakanat want to register FIR in Kamalnagar police station. As for some reason he cannot leave Kamalnagar for next one week.
- (a) Is it legal to register the FIR outside jurisdiction of the police station? Explain.
- (b) Whether police are bound to take FIR? Discuss the procedure if police refuse to register FIR.
