This degree runs on the Choice Based Credit System throughout, items 6.10, 6.11 and 6.12 of the Academic Council of 17 May 2022, brought in one year at a time from 2022-23. The University has published no NEP 2020 syllabus for it. The University examines only the third year of this degree centrally, under exam forms 1S00815 and 1S00816; the colleges examine the first four semesters.

Physical Science Practical
- 1 Standard operation procedure for Vernier caliper, micrometer screw and travelling microscope.
- 2 Determine the combined focal length of given lens system.
- 3 Determine the angle of prism using spectrometer.
- 4 Determine the refractive index of material of prism using spectrometer.
- 5 Determine the magnification of given microscopes.
- 6 Determine the resolving power of microscope.
- 7 Determine the radius of capillary using travelling microscope.
- 8 Determine the radius of curvature of plano convex lens by Newton’s Rings.
- 9 Determine the thickness of thin foil using air wedge
- 10 Measure the divergence of given laser.
- 11 Determine the wavelength of light using plane transmission gratings.
- 12 Determine the numerical aperture of optical fibre
