BSc Forensic Science Physical Science and Biological Science Practical Syllabus - Mumbai University 2026

This degree runs on the Choice Based Credit System throughout, items 6.10, 6.11 and 6.12 of the Academic Council of 17 May 2022, brought in one year at a time from 2022-23. The University has published no NEP 2020 syllabus for it. The University examines only the third year of this degree centrally, under exam forms 1S00815 and 1S00816; the colleges examine the first four semesters.

  • 5 Isolation of microorganism by streak, spread, pour plate method.
  • 6 Study of the growth curve of microorganism
  • 7 Measurement of growth of microorganism by standard plate count method
  • 8 To study factors affecting the growth of microorganism – ph, temperature
  • 9 Separation of serum protein by agarose gel electrophoresis
