Syllabus for Field Project
The University’s credit structure for Semester III names this component "FP: Practical Paper - Concert Management (2)". The circular that publishes it heads itself "Syllabus for Field Projects (FP)" and names no paper; its topics are her own indicative list and your college allots the project.
The topics are indicative and the faculty members should allot Field Projects that are relevant and important as per core Subject. The Field Project may be taken individual or in a group up 5 students with proper guidance from Faculty.

- Teaching basics of music to school children in nearby schools
- Attending music workshops organized by the department or other institutes
- Preparing and giving a small group presentation on a musical topic in old age homes
- Visit to at least 2 different instrument makers and submitting the report
- Attending live concerts and submitting a report
- Volunteering at music festivals organised by music circles or institutions
- Organizing music programs in their locality or society
- interviewing local musicians and submitting short report
- Giving programmes on 15 August and 26 January
- Conducting music awareness survey in locality and presenting analytical report
- Collecting and singing simple folk songs from their region
- Preparing and presenting a short skit with musical elements
- Teaching basics of music to students of different departments of University
- Preparing a small audio or video recordings of their own singing practice
- Visiting temples or community events where music is performed and writing observations
