Bachelor of Performing Arts (Music - Hindustani Tabla) Syllabus - Mumbai University 2026

This is the NEP 2020 syllabus for B.P.A. (Music - Hindustani Tabla), in force from the academic year 2025-26. Semesters I to IV are set by University circular item 8.17 (R) of 20 May 2025 and Semesters V and VI by item 8.49 (N) of the same date; the Semester III Field Project is set separately, by item 8.1 (N) 1.5(b) of 15 July 2025. The University examines this degree under exam form 4945361 and spells it both "Bachelor of Performing Arts (Music-Hindustani Tabla)", in her Summer 2026 timetables, and "B.P.A. (Music - Tabla)", in these circulars. They are the same degree.

The University runs this as a three year degree and it is complete at Semester VI: item 8.17 (R) heads itself "U.G. Three Year Programme", and the credit structure for Semesters V and VI levels them "5.5 TYBPA" with the exit "Award of UG Degree in Major with 132 Credits". There is no fourth year on this tree because the degree does not have one. The University separately approved a B.P.A. (Honours) in Music - Tabla, item 8.23 (N); that is a different programme.
