This degree runs on the Choice Based Credit System throughout, items 6.10, 6.11 and 6.12 of the Academic Council of 17 May 2022, brought in one year at a time from 2022-23. The University has published no NEP 2020 syllabus for it. The University examines only the third year of this degree centrally, under exam forms 1S00815 and 1S00816; the colleges examine the first four semesters.

- 4 Protection and Recording of Crime Scene by Different Methods of Barrication (Indoor and Outdoor)

Chemical Science Practical
- 1 Introduction to Forensic Chemistry lab apparatus and instruments, Laboratory safety rules, MSDS.
- 2 Identification of commonly used organic solvents/ acids/ bases by physicochemical properties (smell, density, pH, refractive index, viscosity, boiling point, etc.)
- 3 To determine the relative viscosity of given liquid by using Ostwald's Viscometer.
- 4 To determine surface tension of the given liquid by using stalagnometer.
- 5 Analysis of single organic compound
- 6 To determine the strength of the given acid conductometrically using standard alkali solution.
- 7 To determine strength of given acid/base.
- 8 To determine the density of given alcoholic liquid.
- 9 To standardize KMnO 4 solution and find strength of the given
- oxalic acid solution.
- 10 Industry/Laboratory Visit
