Syllabus for Practical Paper - Concert Performance
Course Objectives
- To understand & appreciate the facets of improvisation.
- Ability to perform traditional solo with excellent competence.
- To enable the students to improve the performing skills.
- To understand and appreciation Indian Knowledge System.
Course Outcomes
By the end of the module, students should be able to:
- Inspire to perform solo in maifil recital
- They should understand & appreciate the facets of improvisation.
- They should be able to perform expandable and non-expandable compositions with Padhant.
- They should be able to understand & appreciate the facets of Lay, Tala and tonal quality.
Module 1: Solo performance in Teental which includes traditional compositions learnt in Semester I and II
Module 2: Solo performance in Jhaptal which includes traditional compositions learnt in Semester I and II
