Module II: Advanced Weaving: Complex Structures and Innovations

  • A Complex weaves: Characteristics, Properties, Variations, Construction details and Uses
  • Huck-A-Back
  • Honeycomb
  • Mock Leno Bed Ford Cord

  • Extra Warp and Weft
  • Color and Weave Effects

Module III: Knitted Fabric Structures and Narrow Width Fabrics

  • A Knitting: basic terminology, loop structures, types of needles
  • i Weft knitting – single jersey, purl, rib, interlock, other fancy knits – weft knitting machines, variations, properties and uses
  • ii Warp knitting – Tricot, Raschel, Milanese and their variations, properties and uses and warp knitting machines
  • B Narrow width fabrics: labels, laces etc.
