This is the University of Mumbai syllabus for B.F.A. (Textile Design), Circular No. UG/210 of 2004 dated 28 May 2004 (Ordinances 5331 to 5337, Regulations 4569 to 4591), in force from the academic year 2004-2005. Its Final Year ordinance, O.5336, was re-issued by Circular No. UG/353 of 2008; no circular has changed a subject of this branch. It is still the scheme examined: the University set the Summer 2026 papers on it, and has published no later B.F.A. syllabus. The Final Year B.F.A. examination is conducted by the University of Mumbai, on exam form 4O02444.

Group I (Theory) Lectures per Academic Year: 100 hours
- Cost estimation and colour coverage of printed of Printed samples. Different types of finishes eg. waterproofing, organdie finish, Mercerization, Sanforisation. Function of dobby and jacquard looms. cloth analysis Merchandising. Market survey and cost estimation.
