This is the University of Mumbai syllabus for B.F.A. (Metal Work), Circular No. UG/210 of 2004 dated 28 May 2004 (Ordinances 5317 to 5323), in force from the academic year 2004-2005 and amended for the Third Year Execution/Application by Circular No. UG/352 of 2008. It is still the scheme examined: the University set the Summer 2026 papers on it, and has published no later B.F.A. syllabus. The Second Year B.F.A. examination is conducted by the University of Mumbai, on exam form 4O02462.

Syllabus for Technique
Group I (Theory) Lectures per Academic Year: 100 hours
- Introduction of the subject and medium materials, Repousse, Processes, Tolls & equipments used in metal work, general properties and uses of matels and acids and important chemicals and their functions. Joinery methods, etching, perforrating.
