Module 1: To measure pressure using a pressure sensor.

  • To measure displacement using various displacement sensors. To measure temperature using various temperature sensors. To study different types of Biopotential electrodes To measure pH of a solution using a pH electrode. To study the principle and working of Actuator The learner will be able to: Demonstrate the measurement of pressure using a pressure sensor. Demonstrate the measurement of displacement using displacement sensor. Demonstrate the measurement of temperature using various temperature sensors. Distinguish various types of biopotential electrodes. Demonstrate the measurement of pH of a solution using a pH electrode. Demonstrate the principle and working of Actuator Basic electronics, sensors characteristics List of Experiments Hrs 2 To study principle and working of a strain gage sensor 2 To study principle and working of LVDT To study principle and working of a pressure transducer 2 To study measurement of angular displacement using of a capacitive transducer 2 To study the resistance vs temperature characteristics of a thermistor 2 To study the temperature measurement using thermocouple 2

Module 7: To study the temperature measurement using IC based sensor 2

Module 8: To study various Biopotential electrodes 2

Module 9: To study principle and working of a pH electrode 2

Module 10: To study principle and working of any one type of Actuator 2

Module 11: To study principle and working of a DC motor 2

Module 12: To study principle and working of stepper motor 2
