Syllabus for Industrial Processes Lab
Module 1: Study of Safety & Working instruction in a Machine shop.
Module 2: Study of Measuring Instruments and cutting tools
Module 3: Report on machining processes performed on lathe machines.
Module 4
- One Job consisting of Plain and Taper Turning operations performed on mild steel, cylindrical components on lathe Machine.
Module 5: Report on machining processes performed on Drilling Machine
Module 6: Fabrication of one simple job on Milling Machine
Module 7: Preparation of lap joint of GI sheet using Spot compressive Welding.
Module 8: Report on forging tools.
Module 9: Demonstrate the operation of Heat exchanger, evaporator, boilers.
Module 10: Assignments based on Heat transfer Processes and Equipments.
Module 11: Demonstrate the operation of distillation column, dryer, reactors.
Module 12: Assignments based on Heat and Mass transfer Processes and Equipments.
Module 13: Develop charts on hazardous area classification.
Module 14: Assignments based on Hazardous Area classification .
