B.E Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Game Theory for Data Science LAB Syllabus - Mumbai University 2026

This is the Fourth Year AI-ML syllabus under REV-2019 'C' Scheme, in force from the academic year 2023-24. The University has not yet published an NEP 2020 syllabus for this year of the degree, and this is the scheme its examinations are set on.

Module 1: Prisoners dilemma

Module 2: Pure Strategy Nash Equilibrium

Module 3: Extensive Form – Graphs and Trees, Game Trees

Module 4: Strategic Form – Elimination of dominant strategy

Module 5: Minimax theorem, minimax strategies

Module 6

  • Perfect information games: trees, players assigned to nodes, payoffs, backward Induction, subgame perfect equilibrium,

Module 7

  • Imperfect-information games – Mixed Strategy Nash Equilibrium – Finding mixed-strategy Nash equilibria for zero sum games, mixed versus behavioral strategies.

Module 8: Repeated Games

Module 9: Bayesian Nash equilibrium

Module 10

  • Implementation of any game for example Tic Tac To , coloring triangle , water jug , 8 queen , 8 puzzle etc (this should be done in group of 3-4 )
