  • IND AS 107: Financial Instruments:Disclosure requirements for financial instruments, Risk disclosures: credit risk, liquidity risk, market risk, Fair value measurement and hierarchy
  • IND AS 109: Financial Instruments Classification and measurement of financial assets and liabilities, Expected Credit Loss (ECL) model, Basics of hedge accounting, Key disclosure requirements

Module 2: Final Accounts of Proprietary Concern 15 hours

  • Introduction and Meaning of Final Accounts of Proprietary Firm.
  • Accounting Framework of a Proprietary Firm.
  • Preparation of Final Accounts: Trading Account, Profit & Loss Accounts, Balance sheet.
  • Basic Financial Statement Analysis: Interpretation of Profitability and Financial Position, Simple Ratio Analysis (Gross Profit Ratio, Net Profit Ratio, Current Ratio), Understanding financial health for decision-making (Note: For Semester End Examination not more than 5 adjustments to be asked in one practical problem)
