B.Com. (Accountancy) Semester 6 Syllabus - Mumbai University
This is the TY BCom Accountancy syllabus under NEP 2020, in force from the academic year 2026-27. The University clubbed this degree with B.Com., B.Com. (Business Economics) and B.Com. (Business Management) on 25 May 2026 and now awards it as B.Com. These are the Major and skill courses set for this semester by the University circular for B.Com. (Accountancy), 10 credits in all. Your Minor, Open Elective and Ability Enhancement courses are chosen from baskets the whole Faculty of Commerce and Management shares, and the University publishes those separately. The University also sets one 2 credit subject from the Board of Studies in Commerce and one from the Board of Studies in Business Economics in each of these semesters, and publishes those with the other clubbed streams. Semester VI also carries a 4 credit On-Job Training, for which the University has published only its general guidelines and no syllabus of this Board's own. The University sets two papers called Accounting and Auditing Financial Accounting - IV here, one of 4 credits and one of 2 credits, and you sit whichever your college runs.
