• 1 Direct Method to Language Teaching
• 2 Structural Method to Language Teaching
• 3 Communicative Method to Language Teaching
• 4 Translanguaging

Module 3: Techniques of Teaching English - I

• 1 Listening Skills – Decoding sounds, Comprehension of Structures, Guess and Predict, Discourse markers, Pre listening activities, Listening and Imitation
• 2 Speaking Skills – Object lessons, Dialogues, Saying and Doing Exercises, Language Drills, Pronunciation – Spelling, Phonetics, English Sounds, Oral Drill

Module 4: Techniques of Teaching English – II

• 1 Reading Skills – Scanning, Skimming, oral, intensive and extensive for classroom reading, reading aloud, silent reading, Vocabulary – Teaching form or shape of Word, Through Context, Word families, Word chains, Word Groups, Word Exercises
• 2 Writing Skills –Pre writing activities- Handwriting, Brainstorming, Free writing, Composition, teaching Grammar
