This is the TY BA German Studies syllabus under NEP 2020, in force from the academic year 2025-26. The University still sets the earlier Choice Based papers alongside it for ATKT candidates, so check which scheme your exam form names before you revise.
MU sets this paper in the Winter 2026 T.Y.B.A. timetable as "Communication Skills in German IV (B1+)" (course code 70805). The syllabus circular heads the same course "Communication Skills in German V (B1+)". The CEFR level is B1+ in both, which is what separates it from the Semester IV paper at B1.2.

Syllabus for Communication Skills in German V B1+
Module 1: Verbal & listening skills. Along with the practice of advanced German language structures, their application in authentic situations shall also be dealt with. With the help of role plays, debates, discussions & expression of opinions on current situations, the language skills shall be strengthened.
