B.A. (German Studies) Research Project Syllabus - Mumbai University 2026
This is the Fourth Year BA German Studies Honours with Research syllabus under NEP 2020, in force from the academic year 2026-27. The fourth year is new in 2026-27, and the University runs it as two separate awards: Honours, and Honours with Research.
MU heads this block "(Sem.- VII)" and it is the Semester VIII Research Project. Four things in MU's own print say so: it is printed after every Semester VIII course; it sits under MU's divider page reading "RP (8)"; MU's credit structure gives the Research Project 4 credits in Semester VII and 8 in Semester VIII, and this block carries 8; and the block itself says the dissertation "may be a continuation of the Project of Sem VII", which the Semester VII project cannot be.
