B.A. (Film, Television and New Media Production) Syllabus - Mumbai University
One syllabus, five exits. The University sets a one-year U.G. Certificate in Film, Television and New Media Production, a two-year U.G. Diploma, the three-year B.A. itself, and the four-year B.A. (Hons.) and B.A. (Hons. with Research) in the same subject. The B.A. runs six semesters, and the courses below are what the University's own circulars set for each of them.
Two schemes are running at once. The first and second years follow NEP 2020 — Semesters I and II from 2024-25 and Semesters III and IV from 2025-26 — while the third year is still the University's earlier CBSGS scheme, which is what her Summer 2026 third-year timetable sets. The University has not yet published a Semester V and VI syllabus under NEP 2020 for this degree. Each year below says which scheme it is, so you can check it against the timetable for your own examination.
