About this role
Everpure is the enterprise data storage company formerly trading as Pure Storage, and this seat sits in Fleet Reliability Engineering, the team that watches the health of roughly a hundred thousand customer arrays running in production worldwide. The work is forensic. You take a live customer failure, dig through the full storage stack to find the cause, then write software and analytics that predict the same failure before it reaches anyone else. Expect Go, Java, Python, C++ and a lot of Linux, plus an on call rotation. This is the rarest thing on the board today: an employer asking for six months to one year of experience on a real systems engineering team, not a support desk. If you have a year of SRE or backend work and you want depth in distributed systems rather than another CRUD service, this is the one to read twice.
