Graviton is a privately funded quantitative trading firm that trades across many asset classes and venues, analysing terabytes of data to find pricing anomalies. In that world the network is not back office plumbing, it is part of the edge, and this role reflects that: you would work directly with traders to add and change connectivity to financial exchanges, hunt down latency, and find low latency solutions in existing networks. The rest is solid infrastructure work, designing networks for new offices and data centres, running market connectivity tests and circuit migrations, and coordinating with remote hands technicians in data centres globally.
