Syllabus for Data Analysis in Healthcare Laboratory
Course Outcome Learner will be able to
- Plan the experiment for the given study
- Form a sample of proper size
- Use descriptive statistics to present the data
- Apply statistical methods to analyse the data
- Make inferences based on statistical theories Syllabus: Same as that of BML603 Data Analysis in Healthcare (DAH) Laboratory experiments may be conducted using Excel/ Python / R Studio /Tableau or any other Statistical tool/ software

- 2 Discrete probability distributions
- 3 Continuous probability distributions
- 4 Sampling distributions
- 5 Estimation
- 6 Hypothesis testing
- 7 Analysis of variance
- 8 Regression and Correlation
- 9 Chi square distribution and analysis of frequency
- 10 Anova
- 11 Kruskal-Wallis Test
- 12 Mann Whitney U-test Any other experiment based on syllabus which will help students to understand topic/concept University of Mumbai, Biomedical Engineering, Rev 2021-22 66 Assessment: Term Work: Term work shall consist of minimum 7 experiments. The distribution of marks for term work shall be as follows: Laboratory work (Experiments) : 10 Marks Laboratory work (Journal) : 10 Marks Attendance : 5 Marks The final certification and acceptance of term work ensures the satisfactory performance of laboratory work and minimum passing in the term work.
