Syllabus for Introduction to Computational Chemistry Lab
Module 1: Introduction to key software packages (e.g., Gaussian, GAMESS)
Module 2: Setting up and running basic calculations
Module 3: Interpreting output files
Module 4: Fundamentals of Molecular interaction
Module 5: Fundamentals of Chemical reaction
Module 6: Prediction of molecular structure
- List of Assignments / Tutorials
Module 1
- Research and summarize three key applications of computational chemistry in different fields (e.g., drug design, material science, environmental chemistry).
Module 5
- Follow a tutorial to perform a simple MD simulation of a water box using 06 online resources or an introductory MD software package.
