Group II (Practicals) Studio Practicals per Academic Year: 340 hours
- a) Preparation of solutions for dyeing and pastes for printing. Practicals in different types of dyeing eg. tie and dye, Batik, Block printing and preparation of small screens suitable for printing, realisation of visualized design concents. (b) Practicals in basic weaves plain satin and various kinds of weaves to obtain interesting forms and texture in fabrics, practicals in dyeing yarns.
