Syllabus for Portrait Painting or Mural Painting
Portrait Painting
- Exploration of portrait painting with emphasis on the characteristics of the model. Correct rendering through the study of value, colour, form, and line should be made along with proper composition to bring out the essence of the portrait painting.
OR — Mural Painting
- Extensive study of materials and methods used in mural painting along with variety of subject and techniques of mural designing according to the objective and environment is studied by the candidate.
Studio Practicals per Academic Year : 250 Hours; Assignments per Academic Year : 4. Duration : 35 Hours; Paper : 90 marks; Term Work : 60 marks.
