- iv Individuals with Disability Act (IDEA 2004) and its 6 principles.
- B Inclusive Education
- i Definition of terms, Benefits of inclusive education for children with and without special needs. Universal design for Learning – meeting the needs of all learners and learning styles

- A High Incidence Disabilities
- i Intellectual Disabilities: Definition, Classification, Characteristics, Causes and Educational placement of children with special needs and effective classroom strategies
- ii Learning Disabilities: Definition, Types, Characteristics, Causes and Educational placement of children with special needs and effective classroom strategies
- B Low Incidence Disabilities
- i Sensory Disabilities: Hearing and Vision Impairments - Definition, Types, Characteristics, Causes and Educational placement of children with special needs and effective classroom strategies Physical Disabilities: Cerebral Palsy - Definition, Types, Characteristics, Causes and Educational placement of children with special needs and effective classroom strategies.
