This is the University of Mumbai syllabus for B.F.A. (Sculpture), Circular No. UG/210 of 2004 dated 28 May 2004 (Ordinances 5324 to 5330, Regulations 4545 to 4568), in force from the academic year 2004-2005. Circular No. UG/353 of 2008 amended the Final Year ordinance, O.5329, and changed no subject. It is still the scheme examined: the University set the Summer 2026 papers on it — History of Art (83301) and Aesthetics (83302) in the Second Year, History of Art (83401) in the Final Year — and has published no later B.F.A. syllabus. The Second Year B.F.A. examination is conducted by the University of Mumbai, on exam form 4O02422.

MU’s Education Pattern table for this year prints the subject as “Modelling from life (head study in clay)”.
Group II (Practicals) Studio Practicals per Academic Year: 200 hours
- Deeper study characterization to be achieved in clay, quality of form and medium to be resolved and used as one experience. Understanding the plans and structural leading to portraiture students should be exposed to various specimens of sculptural Art form ancient period to the modern time. ( Anatomy study ) Anatomical study with drawing.
