About this role
Workato sells integration and automation infrastructure, the layer that connects a company's applications, data and processes, and it is now built around AI agents and enterprise Model Context Protocol. This role onboards new customers onto that platform: gathering integration requirements, leading solution design with the customer's business and technical stakeholders, and advising on deployment models, governance and integration design. You would also run post onboarding health checks and build reusable demos, architecture patterns and courses. It is implementation consulting rather than product engineering, and you are measured on how fast customers reach value. Genuine technical depth is expected, since the competency list covers building multi step integrations with authentication, error handling, version control and CI/CD participation.
Who this is for
Asks for 5+ years of hands on experience in solutions and implementation consulting. Required: working knowledge of integrations, system design principles and app integration industry trends; working knowledge of SQL, on premises and cloud deployment models and the full software development lifecycle; experience with at least one integration platform as a service, with Workato, Tray, TIBCO, Boomi, MuleSoft, WebMethods and Oracle Integration Suite named; and the ability to produce quality technical documentation. Plus points: JavaScript frontend or backend experience, and OEM, embedded SaaS or iFrame integration.
