Staff Engineer | DevOps and Platform Engineering

A staff level DevOps role at Tekion in Bangalore, building the infrastructure automation behind its cloud platform for automotive retail. The scope described is broad and genuinely senior: architecting and leading advanced CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code and automated deployment; designing cloud native infrastructure for high availability and fault tolerance; leading incident response, performance tuning and capacity planning; and building the observability frameworks the rest of engineering depends on. Stack is explicit, with cloud across AWS, GCP or Azure, Terraform or Pulumi for infrastructure as code, and Kubernetes with service mesh for orchestration. Stated bar is eight or more years. Published qualifications: 8+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure automation or platform engineering; a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field; expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure; infrastructure as code with Terraform or Pulumi; CI/CD tooling; deep experience with container orchestration including Kubernetes, service mesh and microservices infrastructure; a strong background in system observability, logging and incident response; and strong problem solving, mentorship and communication skills. Responsibilities as listed: architect and lead development of advanced CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code and automated deployment solutions; design cloud native infrastructure supporting high availability and fault tolerant applications; lead incident response, performance tuning and capacity planning across systems; work with engineering, product and security teams on platform scalability, security and compliance; and implement observability frameworks while improving monitoring.
