Solutions Engineer | ChatGPT and OpenAI API

Responsibilities as published: partner with customers to ensure they achieve tangible business value from the models through ChatGPT and the OpenAI API; work with senior business stakeholders to understand pre sales needs, guide their AI strategy and identify the highest value use cases and applications; work with business and technical teams to demonstrate the value of the solutions and recommend architectural approaches; demonstrate how the ChatGPT business product solves customer problems through demos, use case scoping and proofs of concept; serve as the first line of defence for security and compliance questions, explaining standardised collateral, guiding customers to relevant resources such as the trust portal and escalating complex requirements to the right teams; create and maintain documentation, guides and FAQs covering common questions found during pre sales; and develop customer relationships through evaluation and purchase, fostering advocacy and representing the voice of the customer internally. Fit guidance: the security and compliance element is a larger part of this role than the title suggests, and it is the part most solutions engineers underestimate. Enterprise AI adoption stalls on data handling, retention and regulatory questions far more often than on model capability, so being fluent there is what makes someone effective in this seat.
