Everpure
About this role
Everpure is the rebranded Pure Storage, and Portworx is its Kubernetes native storage product. This
seat is on the core Portworx Enterprise team, designing and building cloud native microservices and
integrating new features into the product. Golang is preferred, and the emphasis is on services that
operate and scale in a distributed architecture reaching thousands of nodes. A distinctive part of
the job is debugging: the posting asks specifically for expert debugging skills and the ability to
work through ambiguous problems at scale in public and private cloud environments, and mentions using
AI tooling to debug product and performance issues in large clusters. You take features from design
through to production and own what customer deployments surface. Apply if you want Kubernetes storage
internals with Go as the daily language.

Who this is for
Requirements. A BS in Computer Science. 8+ years of experience designing, developing and testing
enterprise products, with Golang preferred. A good understanding of microservice architectures and
cloud native platforms. Experience designing and owning microservices that operate and scale in a
distributed system architecture reaching thousands of nodes. Expert debugging skills and the ability
to navigate ambiguous problems at scale in public and private cloud environments. Experience working
with multiple internal and external stakeholders, from product management through to customers.
Responsibilities. Design and develop cloud native microservices and integrate new features into
Portworx products. Focus on design, development, unit and functional testing, code review,
documentation and CI/CD. Debug product and performance issues in large scale clusters using AI
tooling. Work with peers and stakeholders to take solutions from initial design to production. Take
full ownership of design and development, adapting to customer feedback and handling issues found in
unit testing, system testing and customer deployments. Experiment with new technologies.
Office reality. Bangalore. The posting states directly: "We are primarily an in-office environment
and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Bangalore office in compliance with Everpure's
policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave." Everpure is one of the few
employers on this board that states its office policy plainly, and it means it.
Who this is for. A backend or distributed systems engineer with eight or more years, ideally in Go,
who wants storage and Kubernetes depth. The debugging emphasis is real: much of the job is working
out why something behaves oddly on a large customer cluster, which suits people who enjoy diagnosis.
Everpure runs several Member of Technical Staff requisitions on different teams at very different
bars, from 4 years up to 18, so check which one you are reading.
