Everpure is Pure Storage after its rebrand, the enterprise flash storage company, and Portworx is its
Kubernetes storage product. This seat is on the Portworx CSI side, building the SaaS platform that
customers use to buy and manage Portworx, so the work is cloud native microservices rather than
firmware. You will design and ship high performance services in Go, Java or C++, own them through
architecture, code review, unit and functional testing and CI/CD, and take features from a product
manager's requirement to something early adopter customers are running. At 4 years this is the
lowest experience bar Everpure has published on this board, and the stack (Go, Kubernetes, control
plane work, SSO and RBAC) is the sort that transfers anywhere. Apply if you want distributed systems
work at a storage company without needing a kernel background.

Who this is for
Minimum qualifications. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or
equivalent practical experience. 4+ years of professional experience designing, building and
deploying production grade product components in Go, Java or C++. A proven background in
microservices architecture, cloud deployments and distributed systems design. Strong core computer
science fundamentals including algorithms, data structures and maintainable software engineering
principles. Team oriented communication, with the posting explicitly naming cross functional and
open office working.
Preferred technical qualifications. Hands-on Kubernetes and containers, with prior Kubernetes
control plane development called out as a plus. Implementing authentication (SSO, LDAP) and
authorisation (RBAC, OAuth) frameworks. A background in e-commerce marketplace integration, or
automating SaaS billing and usage reporting. Building telemetry reporting systems for production
services, or developing public facing SDKs.
What you would actually do. Develop, test and integrate high performance microservices into the
Portworx suite with high availability in distributed systems. Lead the software lifecycle:
architectural design, code reviews, unit and functional testing, documentation, CI/CD. Work with
product managers, engineering peers and early adopter customers. Own feature stability, folding in
customer feedback and fixing what testing and deployment surface. Research emerging cloud
infrastructure tooling.
Office reality. Bangalore, and the posting is tagged #LI-ONSITE. Everpure states across its postings
that it is "primarily an in-office environment" and that you are expected to work from the Bangalore
office except for PTO, work travel or approved leave. It also asks you to be willing to work in an
open plan office. Treat this as an in-office job, not a hybrid one.
