About this role
ChargePoint runs one of the largest EV charging networks, and its Network Operations Centre is what
keeps that fleet monitored. This is a staff level test automation seat covering two platforms, the
Voice AI platform and the monitoring and analytics platform. You own the end to end automation
strategy: the framework, the test pyramid across repositories, CI/CD test pipelines, test data
management, environment parity and getting rid of flaky tests. You also own the performance testing
practice, including load, stress, soak and spike testing, defining SLOs and regression gates, and
building harnesses with Locust or k6. The framing is shift left: moving from finding bugs to

Who this is for
Requirements. 8+ years of experience in software quality engineering with a strong automation focus.
Hands-on experience with Playwright for end to end browser automation including multi-tab, auth flows
and visual testing.
What you would own. Design and own the overall test automation framework and strategy across both the
Voice AI and Monitoring and Analytics platforms. Define test pyramid principles (unit, integration,
contract, end to end) and enforce them across repositories. Lead architecture decisions for automation
tooling, CI/CD test pipelines and observability of test health. Establish standards for test data
management, environment parity and flakiness elimination. Own the performance testing practice
covering load, stress, soak and spike testing for backend services and APIs. Define performance
baselines, SLOs and regression gates integrated into CI/CD. Instrument test runs with profiling and
APM tooling to find throughput bottlenecks and latency regressions. Build scalable performance test
harnesses using Locust, k6 or equivalent.
Collaboration. Act as a technical lead and quality champion, influencing engineering culture, coding
standards and test coverage expectations. Mentor mid-level and senior engineers on automation
patterns, code quality and testing strategy. Partner with product managers to define acceptance
criteria and quality gates.
Reporting line and location. You report to the Director, NOC Delivery and Automation. Bangalore,
Karnataka.
