Databricks runs data and AI infrastructure for more than 10,000 organisations, and its networking platform is what connects the control plane to the compute plane across multiple clouds. This seat is one of the early senior hires on a fast growing Bangalore site, and the posting says you will define the technical vision and architecture for connectivity and observability services managing millions of virtual machines. The platform also carries enterprise security features customers use to build connectivity to cloud resources and prevent data exfiltration. The bar is high and stated twice: 15 or more years of production experience in Rust, Java, Scala, C plus plus or similar, and 10 or more years building large scale distributed systems.
