About this role
This is Tekion's data platform seat, building the pipelines behind its automotive cloud. The posting is unusually specific about the architecture: a medallion layout with Bronze, Silver and Gold layers, and your job spans pipelines, data models and platform services across all three. What stands out is the emphasis on correctness rather than throughput. You are asked to build data quality checks at every layer, schema validation, null checks, referential integrity and business rule assertions, so problems are caught early instead of passing silently downstream, and to design pipelines so row counts, aggregates and key metrics can be reconciled from source systems through to Gold outputs. Who this is for

The day to day: design, develop and maintain data pipelines, data models and data platform services across the Bronze, Silver and Gold layers. Participate in data architecture discussions and contribute to decisions on pipeline design, data modelling and platform components. Build and enforce data quality checks at every layer, including schema validation, null checks, referential integrity and business rule assertions. Design pipelines with end to end reconciliation in mind so row counts, aggregates and key metrics can be traced and validated from source systems through to Gold layer outputs. Work independently on complex data engineering features while collaborating with peers, including on AI assisted data products.
