About this role
Tekion builds cloud software for car dealerships and manufacturers, an industry its own posting describes as having seen no real innovation in fifty years. Its platform covers retail, enterprise and partner clouds, so the software touches sales, service and parts operations at scale. This is a quality engineering seat on that platform. You design and maintain both manual and automated tests: functional, regression, integration and system testing, plus the test data and the traceability between requirements and coverage. You work directly with the engineers and product managers who own the features. At 2 to 4 years this is the most accessible experienced role in today's edition and a good fit if you already automate web application tests and want to own quality for whole features rather than run someone else's scripts.
Who this is for
Required by the posting: 2 to 4 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance or software development. Experience testing web applications, both manually and with automation. The ability to analyse product requirements, technical specifications and user stories, and turn them into adequate test coverage.
