PhonePe carries a very large share of India's UPI payment volume, and this role is infrastructure at that scale, on private cloud rather than a hyperscaler. The requirement list is specific in a way that tells you what the job actually is: deep Linux and Unix administration, MySQL with MariaDB or Percona as a plus, SaltStack for configuration management, KVM and QEMU for virtualisation, and data centre work.
