PhonePe runs India's largest UPI payments app, with over 600 million registered users and more than 330 million transactions a day. This role sits in the production support and automation layer that keeps that running. A Product Solution Engineer diagnoses live production failures, owns monitoring for production and non production environments, ships smaller features into stable components, and aggressively automates manual operational work with Python, Perl and shell scripts. You also carry feedback from customer users back to the internal engineering and product teams, so part of the job is translation between operations and the business. The database work is real: good MySQL exposure and the ability to write and read complex SQL joins are required. This is one of the very few roles on today's board with a genuinely low floor, 2 to 4 years, and it suits someone who prefers debugging live systems to greenfield feature work.
